This is me

So I just got done reading this series of books by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes.
She's 25 years old and has 11 published books already.
I read her second book when I was in either 6th or 7th grade and have loved all her books since.
She writes vampire novels.
And the series I just got done with was about shapeshifters; very good series by the way, I recommend them to you.


But anyway, she has a website that she personally updates whenever she can, and it has a message board on there where you can send her private messages and whatnot.


So I wrote her a private message telling her that I love her books and that she should consider having them made into movies, if she hasn't already.
I also told her what I was going to be going to school for and that I'd love to and would be honored to work on her movies, if she has any say in the matter.


So yea, I can't wait to hear what she has to say in response, if she does at all.

But other than that...
if you're looking for some easy-read books about a fantasy world, I would definitely recommend that you read any of her books, but particularly the shapeshifter series. It's called The Kiesha'ra series. It's 5 books: Hawksong, Snakecharm, Falcondance, Wolfcry, and Wyvernhail.

how can you write like this and expect to be seen as an intelligent person?
I don't get it.

I just watched Night of the Living Dead for the first time today.
The ending kind of pissed me off a little.
But whatever, I still liked it.



and considering there are tons of zombie films that I haven't seen yet...

I've decided to make it my goal for this summer, to watch every zombie film I can.



I'm starting with George Romero's films.
Though this will include all of his horror films, whether or not they have zombies in them.
Did you know that Romero has a romantic comedy film? Weird, but true.

My mom says I'm not applying myself to my school work like I used to.
It's true.

But I'm so tired of school. I don't really want to do it anymore.

Does that make me a quitter?
Am I a quitter because I don't think college is the way for me?
Apparently my mom thinks so.

My own mother thinks I'm a quitter.

She thinks that if I don't continue on to a university, I will end up at McDonalds for the rest of my life.
I brought up cosmetology school again and she thinks that I'll either quit that too or that I'll end up not having any money to support myself. According to her, everyone that goes to that kind of school only ends up working in someone else's shop.

I love the confidence my mother has in me.



God, this really hurts.
I can't believe my mom thinks this of me.
This feels like being the greatest disappointment to the one parent you could truly count on for things.
She was always so supportive of anything I did.
Right now, it feels like all that was fake.

wherever the hell I was last night in Jacksonville...that Christian town does not know how to mosh.




maybe because the majority of them were 8th graders and their moms....
I don't ever want to make the drive up to Jacksonville again. it was sooooo long!
but the bands were good!

I don't know if I can take this anymore.
I'm thinking of resigning.
I don't want to because this is such a great thing and it can help me get scholarships.


but I'm friends with both sides of the battle field here.

They were hurting my eyes all during school.

I am definitely going to have a bruise on my ankle bone tomorrow...
I got up to leave the room and get something, but I did it too quickly and hit my ankle bone on the tower for the computer.
I hit it really hard too.
I was down on the ground for a few minutes.
That really freakin' hurt!
......stupid ankle bone....always sticking out farther that the other bones....darn you.

Because I locked myself out of the house.......again!
This is the ....third time? Maybe the fourth time?

Luckily my aunt is on spring break right now because she has a key to our house.
She come over and let me back inside.

I told my mom that we need to get another key made so we can hide it somewhere in the porch or something.
I told her to make it a birthday present for me....since I"m the one that needs it.

I've got a sun burn.
on the back of my legs.....the top of the backs of my legs.
and it really hurts.

I also started cleaning my room.
took a break after awhile.
came back and just stood there because it looked even worse than it did to start with.
but I'm still working on it.

I actually went and bought some art supplies today.....
because I want to paint.

I haven't painted anything in over a year.
...except walls, but those don't count.

I also bought a new sketch book.
=D
I love getting a brand new sketch book 'cause then you're thinking, 'Man, look at all these blank pages that I get to fill up....I can't wait!'
But then again....it's also a little nerve-racking when you get to that first drawing and you're not quite sure what you want to draw because you don't want to mess up the very first page.
Anyone else feel this way with a new sketch book?
Or is it just me?

just got done playing a mean game of Yahtzee with my mom, my sister, and Ron.
over 4 hours....
I love that game though.

and I finally ate my caramel apple that I got at the fair....so yummy!  ^_^
I gave almost half of it to Ron because he loves caramel.
....I'm such a messy eater though when it comes to things on sticks, hahaha.
(don't ever watch me eat corn on the cob...unless you want a good laugh)
I had sticky caramel all over my face when I finished it. hahaha!

I don't care though...it was pretty darn good!

I had to wear my knee brace just now...
this fuckin' sucks.

I also went out to the ball field to see Chris.....and play with the little kids out there....and yell at them when they got too rough with the other kids (that's what I do out there). I basically babysit for free.
but being out there probably wasn't a good idea because I was running around out there.... =/
I wasn't running too much though...
but it was probably enough to agitate my knee.

His pig, Penelope, got 3rd place in her class.
She was in Division 4 Lot 1, weighing 282.
It was Chris's first time doing this and he got third!
XD

...didn't think I would be at the fair for so long though....the swine show started a little after 6 and I just got home.

But I'm so proud and happy for Chris!!!!
